Greg Slater
Executive Director and CEO of the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA)
Greg Slater serves as Executive Director and CEO of THEA, overseeing a dynamic transportation network that supports over 100,000 daily commuters and advances regional mobility. Prior to this role, he served as Secretary of the Maryland Department of Transportation, bringing more than two decades of public service experience across multiple transportation modes. Under his leadership, THEA continues to prioritize innovation, infrastructure investment, and technology-driven solutions to enhance connectivity and quality of life.
John R. Easterling
Executive Director, Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX)
Michelle Maikisch (MY-kish) is the Executive Director of the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX), overseeing a 125-mile network serving nearly 80 million residents and visitors across five counties. Known for her high-energy, inclusive leadership, she led CFX’s first performance-driven strategic plan and is guiding $4 billion in infrastructure projects through 2028. With over 20 years of experience, Maikisch is committed to building a world-class, integrated mobility network that keeps Central Florida moving for generations.
