Michelle Maggiore

Transportation Solutions Group Team Leader, Cisco

Michelle Maggiore leads Cisco’s global Transportation Solutions Group and is a professional transportation engineer with over 20 years of experience in technology deployment and strategic planning. At Cisco, she advises teams and customers on implementing technologies that support connected and automated vehicles, with a focus on vehicle-to-infrastructure communications and deployment. She previously led U.S. transportation services at IBM and served as Vice President at CH2M Hill, and has contributed to national research published by the National Academy of Sciences (NCHRP Report 806). She holds an M.S. in Transportation Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Penn State.

Scott Faris

Chief Business Officer, Luminar

Scott Faris, Chief Business Officer, Luminar, is an experienced serial technology company executive with over three decades of operating, venture-financing and scaling experience in optoelectronic and solid-state device industries. Prior to Luminar, Scott was CEO of Panaceutics, Inc. and Planar Energy, Inc., a company developing solid-state batteries for electric vehicles. Scott has been CEO of Waveguide Solutions, which pioneered integrated optical chips and COO of Ocean Optics, a global manufacturer of high-volume precision optical instrumentation. Scott serves as a Venture Partner in IDEA Fund as well as on the Board of Directors of Lightpath Technologies, Inc., a publicly-traded high-volume optical component manufacturer.

Reginald B. McKnight, Esq.,

Head of State Policy & Government Affairs, Waymo

Reginald Davis has over 15 years of experience advising on complex public policy, legal, and crisis communications issues for major organizations. He currently serves as Head of State Public Policy & Government Affairs at Waymo, where he leads state legislative and policy strategy across the United States. Previously, he led U.S. Economic Development at Facebook and served as in-house counsel at BP, where he played a key role in the company’s response to the Gulf oil spill. He began his legal career at WilmerHale and clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Reginald earned his law degree from Duke University and holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, where he was a student-athlete and Rhodes Scholar finalist.
